About an SF coach

I’m Dr Geoff James.

I’ve been a Solutions Focused Coach since 2001, working in education, child and adolescent mental health services, residential services, professional development and  organisational change. Over that time I’ve trained many people to use this approach in their lives and at work.

In 2016 my book ‘Transforming behaviour in the classroom – a solution focused guide for new teachers’ was published by SAGE. It is for anyone starting out on the path to Solutions Focused Coaching in schools. It’s tells you what it is, why it works and how to do it.

I am writing, training and continuously developing SFCis and I’m happy to support you in any way that I can.
