About an SF coach

I’m Dr Geoff James.

I’ve been doing Solutions Focused coaching since 2001 in a wide range of settings in education, child and adolescent mental health, professional development, organisational change. I’ve trained hundreds of professionals and caring people to use this approach in their lives and at work. I have a new book out, ‘Transforming behaviour in the classroom – a solution focused guide for new teachers’ designed to be useful for anyone starting out on this path. It’s about what it is, why it works and how to do it.

I’m lucky enough to live in the beautiful south Wales valleys.

I am writing, training and continuously developing the approach – and I’m happy to support you in any way that I can.

A happy thought; when you know where you’re going it more likely you’ll get there and the solutions focused way of working can provide you with the map.
